The Scholarships

The more effort you put in, the more opportunities you have to earn a scholarship. Class of 2021 students, complete five of the six actions (Build, Practice, Strengthen, Complete and Apply) and you're eligible to earn $40,000. Scholarships will be awarded through monthly drawings to students who complete each action.

2. Practice for the SAT: $1,000

Use Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy® to get ready for test day.

3. Improve Your Score: $2,000

Show how practice pays off by improving your SAT score.

4. Strengthen Your College List: $500

Make sure your college list has a mix of academic safety, match, and reach schools.

5. Complete the FAFSA: $1,000

Fill out the free government form to apply for financial aid.

6. Apply to Colleges: $1,000

Apply to the schools you want to attend.

Culpeper Soil & Water Scholarship
NEW Due Date: April 16, 2021

Culpeper Soil & Water Scholarship

Requirements: Plan to pursue a career in a conservation-related field, environmental science, soil and water consumption conservation or related field. This scholarship can award up to $4,000.00.

Applications: Paper applications can be found on www.culpeperswcd.org/education-programs/academic-scholarships/ OR Located at the Scholarship Information Wall outside the guidance door.

Atkins Family Scholarship
New Requirements
Due Date: April 16, 2021

Requirements: Those students' continuing education-technical school, community college, or four year college. Preference will be given to those students who will be pursuing an education in conservationism or related field. This scholarship awards $2,000.00. ( this opens up this scholarship up to all seniors, Preference will be given to a senior that is going into the conservation field) I believe you should fill out all scholarships because you never know

Application: Paper only, Please give completed paper application to Mrs. Cox no later than the end of the school day April 16, 2021


"Living the Dream"

Due Date: April 23, 2021

Requirements: for graduating seniors pursuing behavioral education, social work and/or medicine.Application: Paper only application, you can find it at the scholarship information wall located outside the guidance door. Application and essay must be turned into Mrs. Cox in Guidance.
