Introducing the Fine Arts Academy

Students are allowed and encouraged to select classes from multiple departments: music, theatre/drama, and art.

Students who are a part of the Fine Arts Academy for three years will be recognized at graduation with a special graduation cord and diploma seal to acknowledge your accomplishments in the academy.

Music
Music Courses: Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Music Technology
Theatre/Drama
Theatre/Drama Classes- Theatre Arts 1/Intro, Theatre Arts 2, Theatre Arts 3 (11th-12th grade), Directing for the Stage and Screen (12th Grade)
Art
Art Classes: Art 2-4, Ceramics/Sculpture, Set Design, Art Portfolio Preparation, AP Studio Art Drawing

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

Attendance Information- Attendance matters.  Students accepted into the academy must be available for all concert/performance dates.

  • The total number of days present during SY24-25
  • The total number of days absent during SY24-25
  • The total number of tardies during SY24-25

Short Essays

  • Why do you want to be a member of the Fine Arts Academy?  What are you looking to get out of the Academy?
  • Please share your experience within the fine arts or any relevant experiences that will contribute to your memberships within the Academy.
