Mountain Vista Governor's School Applications and Information Meeting

Application Process Open for 2019-2020

Mountain Vista Governor’s School is a regional program for academically talented and highly motivated math/science students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. Science, mathematics, humanities, and research courses are uniquely integrated to provide a college-level, project-based learning environment.

Applications for admission to MVGS are now available and are due in the student’s school guidance office no later than March 1, 2019. Current RCPS freshmen may access the application at under the HS Happenings tab on the RCHS webpage.

Mountain Vista Governor’s School is pleased to invite prospective students and parents to an informational meeting from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29 (The Prospective Student/Parent Informational Meeting in Warrenton has been postponed until Tuesday, February 5 at 7:00pm.) at the LFCC Warrenton Campus in the Barn (weather cancellation date is February 5). Faculty and staff will be present to discuss the MVGS program and answer questions.  Current MVGS students will be available to describe their experience in the MVGS program.
